Comforts of a double room were fabulous - central heating and multi-channel television. The cost was US$ 45. The location was peaceful and nice, close to freeway, so it was really easy to travel around. The hotel was close to the heart of the Maconge.
Nothing bad to say.

They must have missed the memo on cleanliness.

Very clean and comfortable for a driving stopover. Conveniently close to the highway. The owners are lovely and speak multiple languages. They recommended a nearby village to visit and have dinner. Nice sized backyard with a trampoline - swing set, and tables. Great for kids. Provided towels are different colors - making it easy to keep track of.
Strongly recommend

A unique experience of staying in a charming village surrounded by nature. The owner provided us with helpful information on the region. Convenient location for exploring Burgundy with easy access to major attractions. The apartment was spacious and had a well-equipped kitchen for self-catering. There was a big terrace where we could relax and a comfortable bed for a good night's sleep.
The apartment located under the roof may get hot in summer days, but fortunately, the weather was cool during our stay. Some minor cleanliness issues can be overlooked considering the historical nature of the house.

This budget hotel was located in a charming authentic Burgundian village, surrounded by nature, and close to the canal. the room was clean, equipped with all basic necessities, and had a comfortable bed. the bathroom had hot water and was clean. Breakfast provided was tasty, with good coffee. the host was welcoming, friendly, and helpful, always ready to provide guests with useful information about the area, such as nearby Châteaux of Châteauneuf and Commarin.
One minor issue was the lack of view from the room, but with such a great location, this was easy to overlook.
